Broquel Fender Mix

Fludioxonil 2.5% Metalaxil-M 1%

Broad-spectrum, systemic and contact fungicide, specially designed for use as a therapeutic seed treatment. Provides fungal control of corn, sorghum, soybeans, sunflower, peanuts, peas, white beans and cotton seeds and those present in the soil. Protects germination and initial development of the crop, allowing the establishment of an optimal plant stand.

It contains two active ingredients in its formulation: fludioxonil and metalaxyl with two different modes of action.

Fludioxonil, belonging to the phenylpyrroles group, is a broad-spectrum contact fungicide, with residual activity. Controls seed and soil fungi, belonging to the Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes classes. Its fungicidal action results from the interference it carries out in the osmotic regulation process of the cell membranes of the fungi, which causes the rupture of the cells.

For its part, metalaxyl, belonging to the chemical class of phenylamides, is a specific fungicide against Oomycetes. It penetrates the seed coat and is systematically translocated to all parts of the plant during germination. It acts by interfering with the protein synthesis process.

Thanks to these characteristics, it provides control over several diseases, acting against both damping-off and root diseases, caused by the fungi Pythium spp., Phytophtora spp., Penicillium spp., Fusarium spp. and Rhizoctonia solani, as well as the seed fungi Cercospora kikuchii, Phomopsis spp., Alternaria spp., Rhizopus spp. , Aspergillus spp. and Cercospora sojina.
