Fenotrina

It is an insecticidal-weevil-killing product based on a pyrethroid (lambda-cyhalothrin 5%) and a synergist (piperonyl butoxide 20%). It acts by contact, ingestion, and repellent action to control larvae and adults of chewing, biting, and sucking insects, also affecting their oviposition. It has a long residual effect and a broad spectrum of action. Phenothrin NF has a rapid knockdown effect. After application of phenothrin NF, insects move away from the area and stop feeding; it acts as a preventative.
