Verdan
Insecticide recommended for the control of Lepidoptera in soybean, corn, sunflower, apple, peach, pear and tomato crops.
It belongs to the chemical family known as anthranilic diamides. Its mode of action is as an agonist (activator) of insect ryanodine receptors, affecting muscle contraction. Affected individuals experience paralysis and lethargy, rapidly stop eating, and die within 1 to 3 days.
Provides excellent control of bollworms in soybeans as well as insect populations resistant to other insecticides.
